Abstract
This chapter summarizes the findings of a project that addresses the dual questions of the extent and desirability of transnational civil society power. The project brought together a multinational group of analysts ti assess tge growing role of transnational civil society in six case studies selected for their diversity, ranging from multilateral arms control, to a global anti-dam network, to the emerging global campaign against corruption.
