Abstract
Augmented Reality (AR) integrates virtual images within the real world and offers interactive experiences through the use of multiple sensory modalities. As new education platforms evolve, students are finding it increasingly difficult to solely rely on traditional methods of learning. AR offers a new learning platform that could potentially help students better understand and retain educational material. The objective of this research is to assess whether AR can improve student engagement, retention, and motivation in learning. The findings will be helpful to educational institutions that are considering adopting the use of AR to improve student engagement, motivation, and retention.
