Abstract
Given the growing demands of data analysts, universities have been launching programs on data analytics and data science. It is hence essential to examine the data analytics program curriculum and the skills required by the industries. This study aims to identify the links and gaps between the Master of IT in Business Program curriculum, compared with the skills required by employers when hiring interns. With the links and gaps are mapped between the curriculum and required skills, this study provides the first empirical investigations on internship job requirements with curricular aspects for analytics postgraduate program.
