Abstract
One of the mainstays of this journal is research that blends the research traditions of Computer Science and technical research on information systems, with the process, business, organizational and market issues associated with e-commerce. Over the years since 2009, ECRA has published many papers that are ‘machine-related,’ in that the only way to accomplish the outcomes that are discussed is through the application of algorithms, software, decision systems, technical infrastructures, and technology standards that support innovative e-commerce innovations and services. We created this issue with the idea of showcasing some of the research advances that ECRA has published, so that its readers will realize the central importance of the journal in addressing the issues studied by the community of scholars and practitioners that have been making interesting contributions to new knowledge in this area.
