Abstract
Most Singaporeans use the Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) services daily. From payments at point-of-sale to CashCards for Electronic Road Pricing (ERP), NETS services have been supporting Singapore's payment needs for over two decades. What most Singaporeans may not know is that NETS has ventured into e-payment services, termed eNETS, around Asia for the past three years. eNETS is currently operating in Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Japan. This case study examines the triggering actions that launched an ambitious but necessary strategy to venture out of Singapore.
