Abstract
When interviewing job candidates, you may look for evidence that they stay calm under pressure and interpret signs of stress as red flags. However, our recent research shows that for cross-cultural positions, those red flags might actually indicate your best potential hires. Candidates who exhibit signs of stress may be better suited to navigate the complexities of cross-cultural roles, suggesting a need to reassess traditional interview evaluations.
