Abstract
The proceedings summarize the results of the 16th conference of the "International Academy of Comparative Law". After an introductory overview, the current development trends in the field of mediation in the following countries are presented in 15 chapters: Australia, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, England and Wales, Italy, Yugoslavia, Canada, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Scotland, Switzerland, South Africa and UNITED STATES. The individual country chapters are preceded by a brief summary of the contents.
