Research from the SMU School of Information Systems is helping institutions understand both the benefits and risks of real-time business transactions.

Professor Ma, together with SIS colleagues Professors Robert Kauffman, Guo Zhiling and Mei Lin, are investigators on a project studying the feasibility of implementing real-time payment and settlement systems.
