Abstract
Changing business environments, a new generation of eager but aloof knowledge workers, and increasingly diverse work cultures imply that business leaders of today and tomorrow need new skill sets (and mindsets) to succeed. In this post "sub-prime" financial crisis era, core values like trust, integrity and compassion have become especially crucial. And according to the panel of prominent women business leaders, an authentic passion for the job – or that "fire in the belly" – can go a long way to inspire and motivate.
