Abstract
With the booming digital economy, digital transformation has become a key strategy for global enterprises to enhance competitiveness and optimize economic performance. This dissertation takes Chinese agricultural enterprises as the research subject and deeply explores the impact of digital transformation on corporate economic performance and strategies for business process optimization.
The dissertation first reviews the research progress on the digital transformation of agricultural enterprises. Secondly, it uses qualitative text analysis and machine learning technology to assess the digital level of Chinese agricultural enterprises and analyzes their current status and characteristics. The empirical study employs a fixed-effects model and finds that digital transformation has reduced return of asset rates in the short term but has a positive impact on operating income, with different impacts of digitalization in various business processes on economic performance.
The dissertation selects Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. and Wens Food Co., Ltd., two representative pig farming enterprises, for case analysis of digital transformation. The dissertation finds that both companies have achieved significant results in improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing market competitiveness. Based on this, this dissertation proposes the digital process optimization strategy for Luoniushan Enterprise.
Finally, the dissertation suggests that the government should strengthen policy support and financial assistance, enhance collaborative innovation among agricultural enterprises, and increase efforts in talent cultivation. Enterprises should optimize the digitalization of business processes, promote the deep integration of technology applications with business processes, establish and improve data management and analysis systems, and focus on brand building and market expansion.
