Singapore Management University moved to its city campus in 2005. KNTA Architects (Singapore) and Edward Cullinan Architects (Britain) designed the academic buildings and the public spaces to retain the openness of the Bras Basah area for both pedestrians and vehicles. Cox Architects and Planners (Australia) and Design-Environment Group (Singapore) designed the administration building.
