Panel Discussion 3 - Connecting the dots: Linking open access resources and open educational practices among higher education institutions in Asia [video]

The panellists will cover Open Educational Resources (OER) and their benefits in higher education and why some university courses are shifting to OER and the considerations for moving to this model. They will discuss the use of research that are in institutional repositories as OER and provide examples and best practices of campus wide use of OA resources. They will discuss the new roles and capabilities of academic libraries and librarians in the evolving OER and open access landscape.
