Abstract
Financing not-so-green industries’ environmental transition could really move the climate needle. Directing capital away from carbon-intensive sectors and only financing green sectors may fail to achieve green transition targets. Transition finance plays a critical role in addressing climate challenges. Research suggests that the transition finance logic works and has promising potential.
