Sketch: Pen and Touch Recognition
Abstract
Sketch recognition has technically been around for 40 years, but it has come and gone several times due to the difficulty of the problem. With the rise of touch and pen enabled phones and tablets, sketch recognition is regaining popularity and public presence, and more people are becoming aware of and interested in this difficult, but valuable, problem. It is impor- tant to harness the Sketch Recognition community at this time to encourage the flourishing of this topic.
