Closing procession of Singapore Management University’s inaugural convocation ceremony on 29 July 2000. The procession is led by SMU President Janice Bellace carrying the mace which symbolises scholarship, research and innovation. She is followed by Minister for Education Teo Chee Hean, Chairman Ho Kwon Ping and Chancellor Lim Kim San.
