Abstract
The Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) was launched on 5 January 2015, at the Singapore Opening of the Legal Year ceremony. The SICC is part of Singapore's three-pronged strategy to promote the nation as an international dispute resolution hub. The other two prongs are the already thriving Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) as well as the recently launched Singapore International Mediation Centre and the Singapore International Mediation Institute.
