Abstract
The global economy is changing at an unprecedented pace. The rapid growth of emerging markets has presented huge opportunities for both local and multinational companies. New trends in retailing and branding have emerged, giving rise to new strategies which companies must adopt in order to stand out and be successful in capturing the loyalty of emerging-market consumers.
A highly-cited scholar in market strategy, Professor Rajendra Srivastava is the Provost, Deputy President (Academic Affairs), and a Professor of Marketing at the Singapore Management University (SMU). With a background that combines marketing, finance, as well as operations and supply chains, Professor Srivastava lends a multi-disciplinary perspective on management of business processes and corporate performance.
