Based on success stories in North America and Europe, Mr. Sim was optimistic of the growth opportunities for his new airline, named Valuair Since joining Valuair months ago, Mr. Sim has used its airline background to jump-start the operation while keeping a lid on costs. Privately, he began to notice that the initial set-up cost was quite substantial, and the company might need further financing sooner than previously planned.
