Abstract
The non-profit sector is slowly moving from an era of ‘Just Doing Good’ to one of ‘Doing Good Well’. Willie Cheng argues that this new era requires the various components of an effective and self-sustaining charity ecosystem – regulator, capacity builders, charities, beneficiaries and the community (individuals, corporations, media and government) – to be in place and functioning properly.
