Abstract

Companies face the monumental challenge of adapting to a new economic environment where climate change could alter the very nature of growth itself. Global Initiatives -- with the support of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative -- organised the Business for the Environment (B4E) Global Summit 2008 in Singapore earlier this year which brought dozens of companies, NGOs and policymakers to the table. Singapore Management University is a knowledge partner of Global Initiatives.
