Description
Some of the 306 incoming bachelor of business management students at Singapore Management University's inaugural convocation ceremony on 29 July 2000. This convocation marks the opening of the university, the beginning of the academic year and the start of the business school. Ceremonies were held at Bras Basah Park, the site of the Singapore Management University’s future city campus. Male undergraduates wore SMU ties and the female undergraduates wore SMU scarves.
